What are the requirements?
The minimum age required at S.D.K.C. is 18yrs with valid I.D. We have had people as old as 84 jump, so you're never too old as long as you're in good physical condition. Males must weigh under 220 pounds and females must weigh under 180 pounds.  We weigh each jumper as part of the registration process and those that weigh over will be turned away with a loss of deposit!!

What is your Safety Record?
At Skydive Kansas City we have the best safety record in the midwest period!!  In over a decade of service to this area we stand behind our track record. We strive to provide the newest state of the art equipment and instruction available in the industry.  Along with a very skilled and professional group of staff.

How long does it take to Train & Jump?
Plan on spending the day in preparation for your first Static line jump and Half a day for Tandem jumps although this time frame does fluctuate with demand.

What should I wear to jump in?
Dress comfortably for the day and wear a good pair of tennis shoes with support.  Sandals, Teva's or loafers and boots are not acceptable!

What about the Weather?
Plan to show up at your scheduled time rain or shine!  Our staff will be on hand to start the training process regardless of the forecast from the night before or current weather in town.  In the event weather doesn't permit the jump you will be rainchecked for another day at your convenience.

What about Lunch
You or your group are welcome to bring lunch with you or enjoy several restaurants and fast food spots located within 2 miles from the airport  in Butler.  Picnic tables are located on the airport as well.
 

Cancellation Policy?

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required per person to confirm a space in the class. This deposit is non-transferable to another user. If you fail to show up or cancel for any reason this deposit will be forfeited. You can adjust your reservation outside of 10 days in the event you need to change your jump date and or time. Changes inside the 10 days time frame will result in a loss of deposit.
