Weekly Update May 23rd & 24th 2009

Wow what a weekend!! In the past we choose to close up for the holiday weekend and take some time off. This year with all the demand we jumped and jumped and jumped. Thanks to all our great staff. Steve H and Matt for packing all those tandem rigs. Allen and John for setting a new record on tandems in a day!! and the rest of our great crew that continue to make the DZ shine. Sun. was a bit slower but we still did some tandems and jumped some solo students. I don't have many pictures to add to this post but I will make up for it next weekend. We are planning to have a hot-air balloon out in a few weeks to make some awesome balloon jumps... If you are licensed and want to go in a 7 person balloon to 5k let me know. Slots are filling up fast. This will be done on a week night sunset deal. We are planning to do 2-3 runs of 6 per flight to 5k. Cost is still not determined. Cookout to follow. Not only did we do a bunch of Tandems.... a bunch!!.... Andrew and Phil got to do 10 second freefall jumps!! Add to that a small static line class that went without a hitch. Best of all (maybe) we got a 4-way and a 3 and half way built. Good times. We missed you HACKY.

BTW....this weekly update and interaction is fantastic. I can get a little skydiving fix during the week in the rain.
